Bucking the low inventory trend – 8 Oceanfront homes on the Strand for sale in Hermosa

With housing inventory in Hermosa Beach real estate seemingly never increasing, the oceanfront Strand is certainly the exception to the rule. As of March 21st there were 8 homes for sale on the Hermosa Beach Strand. The Strand is the beachfront strip made up of modern masterpieces, luxury homes and many original beach bungalows. Currently the lowest price beachfront home in Hermosa is priced at $6,900,000 being sold for land value with the highest priced home at $25M located at 2806 The Strand. One of the more interesting homes for sale is the home of Beverly Hills 90210 fame located at 3500 The Strand which sits on the border of Hermosa and Manhattan Beach. Hermosa Beach February Home Sales Slow As Inventory Way Down

Hermosa Beach saw another slow month of home sales as inventory continued at record low numbers.  Although there were several “off market
sales, the sales recorded in the local MLS numbered a paltry 9 homes.  Although the number of home sales was down the sales prices once again were anything but low as the lack of inventory and high demand led to another month of big numbers.  The lowest home price was $640,000 for the 2 bedroom condo located at 320 Hermosa Ave while the top sale of the month was for the fixer/tear down at 136 Neptune…a stones throw from the beach.  View the February home sales below.  To see other South Bay cities or home sales in other months, visit our South Bay recent sales information page.

October a Good Month for Hermosa Beach Home Sales

October was another strong month for Hermosa Beach home sales with 16 closed home sales with a median home price of $1,267,000.
