What a place to live and call home. While the rest of Los Angeles was in the midst of a sweltering heat wave, Hermosa Beach didn’t disappoint. It was an unheard of 90 degrees here at the beach but compared with the triple digits elsewhere who can complain. The endless activities of Hermosa on Labor Day was in full effect from the 60th annual Labor Day 4 Man Volleyball tournament to the Fiesta Hermosa, to simple days in the ocean…there was something for everyone.
To our friends, clients, website visitors and future clients….we at Hermosa Beach Homes and Vista Sotheby’s International wish you a safe and happy 4th of July! Could there be a better place to spend a holiday weekend?
A recent article in Travel and Leisure magazine points out just how much of a part Hermosa Beach is on the 4th of July. From the beach crowds, to the fun of pier plaza, to the events throughout our little coastal community, Hermosa Beach is a great place to be on the 4th of July.

While it may have been the day before Easter, the Easter celebration at Valley Park in Hermosa Beach was a huge sucess and loads of fun. Sponsored and put on by the Hope Chapel, Valley Park was taken over by the big Easter egg hunt along with games and a variety of slides and bouncy houses.
Kids of all age enjoyed the egg search as it was broken down by age group so even the littlest ones had plenty of eggs to find. Valley Park is in the heart of Hermosa Beach just off of Artesia (technically Gould/27th St by that point) and Valley. It’s a fantastic park and really one of the highlights of the north Hermosa sand section and Hermosa in general.
The weather was ideal and in true Hermosa Beach fashion it was yet another beautiful spring day.
